Lots of work on rebuilding Classics and 1st generation LFSes is going on inside the Cremazie Bus Shops.

A Collection of photos taken of the RTL vehicles, the majority of them were photographed near Terminus Centre-Ville in downtown Montreal.

I recently was given a huge opportunity to visit the Laval Metro construction site, and it was like nothing I have ever done or seen before. We actually walked through the tunnels from Henri-Bourassa to the new Montmorency station and beyond! It was truly an amazing experience, and here are a few photos of my visit, starting with the progress from Henri-Bourassa to Cartier.

The new series of NovaLFS for 2006 has already started appearing on the streets of Montreal, and the STM is expecting 76 of them by the end of the year, from 26-001 to 26-076.

Now that the snow has gone, the path clears to visit Youville once again. And there are many surprises in store this spring. Lots of buses which were though to have been long gone are still parked back here, and unfortuntaely some unexpected, and more than likely unwanted surprise additions have been made recently to the retired roster... Well, aside from that, enjoy the photos!

The 2006 season has arrived, and it's time to bring our FHTCQ fleet out of hibrination. Here are some early shots of our fleet in 2006. More will be added as the season progresses.

A quick walk around the property of Legendre yesterday really showed me how many buses Legendre has sent off for early retirement, and it's not a pretty sight. I didn't see any cats at home, but there were lots of empty food wrappers laying around. Note that thankfully, some of these are most likely not set for retirement, but either for rebuilding, or maintenance, and are parked next to those that are retired, which makes telling them apart all the more difficult. (Since nowadays the STM retires buses that look and sound better than those currently on the road!)

Ottawa without a doubt has the widest variety of bus brands, models and makes of any other major North American City transit society. Here are only a few of the many sightings that I saw during my day of busfanning in the Capital City of Canada.

Going on 3 weeks now, the AMT was forced to close down it's southshore Candiac / St-Constant / Ste-Catherine Commuter line due to a freight train derailment on the train bridge that travels through Kahnawake. Included in this gallery are some shots of the truncated commuter service, as well as the shuttle bus that took us to Lasalle terminus Monette / Lafleur.

Last Saturday night I had the chance to ride on RTL's Downtown-Brossard Express Route #45 with a few friends, including the driver. I've included some pics of the AG300 as well as a 2002 RTL LFS. Enjoy!

Every free, and not so free square inch of the Terminus Gare Centrale property at Berri-UQAM metro is being developed into an expansion to the Universite de Quebec a Montreal campus, including dorms and businesses. However this means quite a bit of disruption, including the parked buses are foced to park almost two blocks away from the terminal, which leads to quite a bit of inconveniences. Here are some photos on what's being done presently.
